A friendly AI Pal for ages 4–8, built on early-childhood research — and designed from day one to earn the trust of the parents and teachers who let it in the room.
The opportunity
The youngest learners are the least served
AI in education is growing fast — but almost all of it is built for older students, and most of it is data-hungry by default. It collects widely, personalizes aggressively, and asks parents to trust it after the fact.
Ages 4–8 are exactly where that trade is least acceptable. It's the window where developmental stakes are highest and privacy matters most — and it's the window with no trusted standard for doing AI responsibly.
Prompt Pals aims to be that standard — proof that AI for young children can be warm, effective, and restrained at the same time.

We learn from what content works — not from who the child is. If a signal doesn't improve the teaching, we don't collect it.

Every interaction is checked against what's right for a 4-to-8-year-old — pacing, language, attention, and emotional load.

Grown-ups can see what their child is learning and how the Pal responds. No black boxes in a child's room.

The Pals work for every child — across background, language, and ability — and we look for gaps on purpose, not by accident.
